SCHOOL POLICIES  AND DRESS CODE

School Policies

Tuition:
Tuition for the school year is divided into 3 terms, full payment is due at the beginning of each term. Notification of a new term is posted at The Dance Center. A $10 late fee will added to unpaid accounts after the first 2 weeks of a term.

School Terms:
1st term - September 12, 2011 – November 26, 2011

2nd term - November 28, 2011 - March 10, 2012 

3rd term - March 12, 2011 - June 9, 2012

Late Term Registrations – until January 7th will be accepted, except for intermediate and advanced students. A $35.00 dollar deposit is needed to hold the child’s spot in the class.

Budget Plans:
Budget Plans are available for students taking 2 or more classes. Term tuition will be divided into 3 payments. Due the first week of every month. A $10.00 dollar service fee will be charged to your account per term. You will receive 1 statement per term. You must sign up at the front desk prior to each term to receive a budget statement.

Check-In:
All Dancers and adults need to check in at the front desk before attending their class.

Pick-up:

All dancers need to wait inside the building to be picked up. No dancer can wait outside or cross the street without an adult. No smoking in front of the building. Double parking is not allowed in front of the building.

Newsletters:
Newsletters will be emailed to all accounts monthly.

iVacations:
Oct. 10, Nov. 23-26, Dec. 19-Jan.1, Feb 20-25, April 16-21, May 28

Costume Deposit: $35 due by January 7^th.

Costume Balances: Due in March

Recital:

Recital Dates: June 9, 10, and 11, 2012

Leotards

Ballet, Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Jazz, & Creative Movement:

Black or Pink Leotard (any style), no attached skirt.

Jazz, Modern, Lyric:

Solid colored leotard, tan footed or convertible tights, black jazz pants and or dance shorts.

Tap

Solid colored leotard, tan footed or convertible tights, or dance shorts.

Tights

Creative Movement: pink revolution tight

Jazz: Dark Tan revolution tight (convertible, or footless, or footed)

Tap: Dark Tan revolution tight

Modern: Dark tan revolution footless tight

Lyric: Dark tan revolution footless tight

Skirts can be worn the 1st week of every month.

Required Dance Shoes

Creative Movement – Revolution pink ballet slippers, Boys – black ballet slipper

Ballet -pink, leather or canvas ballet slippers

Jazz -dark tan jazz boot (Revolution brand)

Tap 1 &2 - dark tan u-shell (Revolution brand)

Tap 3 to Advanced -Tan tap oxford not available at our store.

Ballet/Jazz Combo – Revolution ballet slippers, no jazz shoe required

Ballet/Tap Combo –Pink ballet slippers, Revolution tap shoe

Lyric - foot undeez

Modern - Bare feet

Hip Hop – black Revolution dance sneaker

Acro – Bare feet
